LAHORE: The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) – Ramiz Raja talked to the media here on Monday and hoped that a full-strength Australian squad will tour the country and test us in our home conditions.
With Australia’s historic tour to Pakistan is just around the corner, the chairman PCB has expressed his hope that a competitive side tours the country and can test the national team in home conditions.
“It is very fortunate that Australia is touring Pakistan, it will be a good competition between the two sides,” he said.
“I hope that they get to test us with competitive cricket so that we can get to know how prepared our team is in the home condition,” he added.
Ramiz also emphasized the importance of good quality pitches, while hoping to improve the pitches at every point.
Furthermore, Ramiz also acknowledged the decision of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) for allowing the full capacity crowd from February 16 for the Lahore-leg of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7.
“PSL is a world-class event, if more spectators come to the stadium, the festival will be decorated,” he said.
Ramiz also lauded the decision of NCOC of allowing children aged below 12 to enter the stadium.
“Such events are held especially for the children. Children under 12 years of age will enhance the glitter of the marquee event,” he said.
