Hasan Ali Vows Improvement After Karachi Kings' defeat against Lahore Qalandars

KARACHI: Karachi Kings vice-captain Hasan Ali has vowed that the team will bounce back strong after the defeat against Lahore Qalandars in the sixth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.

Chasing a challenging total of 202 runs, the Kings were all out for 136 runs in 19.1 overs, despite Khushdil Shah’s determined effort.

While speaking to the media in the post-match conference, Hasan Ali stated that the team played well in the opening match, but their batting didn’t work out this time.

When asked about James Vince and David Warner’s dismissal, the pacer downplayed the impression of relying too much on foreign players.

“It’s not accurate to say that we’re depending only on our overseas players. The main issue was that we couldn’t build solid partnerships, and the frequent loss of wickets hurt our momentum,” said Hasan

He further stated that the tournament is still in its early stages, and the team is experimenting with different combinations to find the right balance

Hasan mentioned that players like Arafat are being utilized as key bowlers, while Khushdil Shah is being tested in the role of an all-rounder. He added that future matches would determine the best team composition moving forward.
