Haris continues to shine, takes five-wicket haul in County Championship

LEEDS: Pakistani right-arm pacer Haris Rauf, who is representing Yorkshire in the ongoing County Championship claimed a maiden five-wicket haul in his side’s third-round fixture against Kent, here on Friday.

Haris, who is enjoying a decent run in his debut county cricket championship, has now picked his maiden five-for. The right-arm pacer achieved the remarkable feat against Kent.

Taking to Twitter, the Yorkshire County Cricket Club shared the footage of Haris claiming his fifth wicket.

“[Haris Rauf] claiming his fifth wicket. What a way to start his first match in a Yorkshire shirt at HQ,” the Yorkshire wrote.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that Haris had picked nine wickets in two matches of the ongoing County championship before claiming a five-fer.
