‘I’m going to disturb him’ Hasan on sharing dressing room with Anderson

LANCASHIRE: Pakistan’s right-arm pacer Hasan Ali, who is set to represent Lancashire in the ongoing County Cricket Championship 2022, said that he will disturb the veteran fast-bowler, James Anderson.

Hasan, who is set to play six matches for Lancashire during his stint as an overseas player for the side, said he is excited to share the dressing room with Anderson.

“I’m very excited and looking forward to sharing the dressing room with their players; obviously we have Jimmy bhai, Jimmy Anderson, so I’m very happy and very excited,” Hasan told ESPNcricinfo.

The Pakistani speedster further revealed that he never interacted with Anderson before but now he will and he will disturb him a lot to learn some new things.

“Honestly, I never spoke with him before. But now I’m going to have a lot of questions to ask him. I’m going to disturb him,” he said.

“We know he’s a great bowler. He swings the ball both ways. I’m going to learn how he swings the ball both ways, especially the cross-seam ball. I’m going to learn it,” he concluded.

It is pertinent to mention here that Anderson is currently the third-highest wicket-taker in Test history. The right-arm pacer has also been representing Lancashire since 2002.
