KARACHI: Pakistan’s leg spinner – Ghulam Fatima has joined the ongoing training camp of the Pakistan women’s national cricket team for the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup in March.
Fatima, who contracted the widely spread virus the previous week has now recovered from the virus. She has completed the mandatory isolation period and also returned a negative PCR test.
Furthermore, the wicketkeeper batter – Sidra Nawaz also fell victim to COVID-19 and she also joined the squad earlier this week after her recovery.
It is apropos to mention here that the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 will kick off on March 4, while New Zealand will be hosting the mega event. Pakistan, on the other hand, will start their campaign on March 6 against the arch-rivals India.
