‘Fit’ Sharjeel Khan leaves netizens amazed

KARACHI: Left-handed batter Sharjeel Khan made a massive fitness transformation as a picture of him from the ongoing Pakistan Cup 2022 left his fans stunned.

A picture of Sharjeel alongside his teammate Saim Ayub has been circulating on all social media platforms in which the left-handed batter can be seen a lot slimmer and presumably has lost some weight.

Sharjeel’s astounding transformation left cricket fans stunned, which resulted in them taking to Twitter and praising the former for addressing his fitness issues.

Notably, Sharjeel has always been criticised for his bulky physique and poor fitness which also halted his return to international cricket.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam, also commented on Sharjeel’s fitness woes earlier this year ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 and categorically stated that the latter needs to improve his fitness in order to make a national return.

“Sharjeel Khan is a game-changer, I always enjoyed batting with him,” said Babar in a press conference.

“He [Sharjeel] needs to improve his fitness to return to international cricket,” he added.

Here’s how netizens reacted:

It is pertinent to mention that Sharjeel represented Pakistan in 47 matches across all formats and accumulated a total of 1,262 runs including one century and eight half-centuries.
