In reply, New Zealand started strong with a 77-run stand in 11.2 overs. Following the opening partnership, stumbled in the chase, reeling at 166-6 in 34.3 overs.
However, a 65-run partnership between Dean Foxcroft and Zakary Foulkes led New Zealand to a four-wicket victory with 10 balls to spare.
