Expensive Wushu mats deteriorating in Qayyum Stadium

PESHAWAR: Millions of rupees worth of Wushu mats found stranded in the boxing hall of the Qayyum Stadium, soaked in water.

The wushu mats were thrown in the Boxing Hall of the stadium by the boxing coach. Whereas, the wushu players are facing difficulty in training; following the absence of competent mats.

The Boxing Hall is situated right next to the Administrator office of the stadium, however, the administration is unaware of the ongoing situation.

Despite the lack of facilities, membership fees are being charged from the players.

On the other hand, the cover of the Boxing ring is also missing from the training academy.
