LAHORE: National cricket team will engage in seven-match T20I series against England on home soil from September 20 to October 2 as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the tour schedule for England’s historic tour of Pakistan after 17 years.
According to the PCB, Karachi and Lahore will jointly host the action with the first four matches to be played at the National Stadium on September 20, 22, 23 and 25.
Whereas, Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the remaining three matches on September 28, 30 and October 2.

The T20I series will be part of England’s first leg of their tour of Pakistan, and the team will return for three-match Test series in December after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Australia 2022.
Moreover, the complete schedule of England’s Test series will be announced in due course.
It is pertinent to mention that the forthcoming tour marks England’s first visit to Pakistan after a gap of 17 years. The team last toured the country back in 2005 for three Tests and five ODIs.
