Dwarshuis’ five-fer leads Sixers to their seventh victory in BBL

VICTORIA: Ben Dwarshuis’s took a five-fer to help Sydney Sixers seal an emphatic victory over Melbourne Renegades by 45 runs in the 45th match of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL).

Batting first, the Sixers were off to the worst possible start; losing their first wicket for none as Josh Philippe bagged a three-ball duck. Jack Edwards and Daniel Hughes then partnered briefly; adding 44-runs to the team’s total before Hughes walked back to the pavilion after scoring just 17.

Henriques, on the other hand, missed his half-century and dismissed after scoring 49. He faced 35 balls and scored five boundaries and a six. Following his contribution, the Sixers, in the end, managed to post a commendable total of 150 on the scoreboard.
