West Indies got their opener Dottin in good touch who tackled the situation so well at one end despite her partners losing wickets after regular intervals. Dottin and Mathews scored 119 runs together to settle down strongly before Pakistani bowlers made comeback.

Dottin made 132 runs off 146 balls laced with 18 boundaries and two sixes followed by Matthews scoring 57 runs off 67 balls including eight boundaries. Shemaine Campbelle scored 23 runs with the help of two boundaries.
