KARACHI: Pakistan’s veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik once again emphasized continuing with international cricket as he feels fit and fine to play.

In a local event here on Friday, Malik talked to the media about his age concerns and retirement rumours. “Do I look old?” Malik asked the journalist in reply to her question. “See, I don’t care what people say about me. I enjoy myself and try to enjoy my cricket as well. I feel, I am fit enough to play and I will continue,” he said.

To a query about playing the home T20I series against West Indies next month, Malik wasn’t sure. “I am not sure about playing the T20I series,” Malik responded.

It must be noted here that several reports claimed that Malik was about to play his last T20I during Pakistan’s tour to Bangladesh. Pakistan won the T20I series 3-0 against Bangladesh, becoming the first team to whitewash them at their home.
