Chief Minister Punjab National Women’s Hockey League trophy unveiled

Lahore: The trophy of first Chief Minister Punjab National Women’s Hockey Five-a-Side League trophy has been unveiled at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.

Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti unveiled the glittering trophy. Captains of 14 teams and DG Sports Adnan Arshad Aulakh were also part of the function.

“The competition will be helpful for players to prepare for World Cup Five-a-side tournament,” Taimur said. “The Women’s Hockey Tournament will boost the game of hockey,” he added.

The winner of the competition will be awarded PKR500,000 while runners-up will get PKR300,000. The third-ranked side will bag PKR200,000.

The competition will be telecasted live on Sports Board Punjab’s Facebook Page & YouTube Channel.
