Blind Cricket: Pakistan beat India by 58 runs, win Triangular T20 Tournament

SHARJAH: In the final of the Triangular Blind T20 Tournament, Pakistan Blind Cricket Team sealed a comprehensive 58-runs victory over the arch-rivals India Blind Cricket Team to lift the trophy, here on Saturday.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Team completed their unbeaten run in the Triangular series as they beat India in the final by 58 runs.

Batting first Pakistan scored a mammoth 216/3 in the allotted 20 overs, thanks to the fifties from Badar Munir and Nisar Ali in the final of the tournament.

Badar scored a quickfire 63 off just 25 balls with the help of five boundaries and a six, while the skipper Nisar top-scored with 69 runs.

Set to chase 217, India could only manage to score 158 runs in the allotted 20 overs as tight bowling from Pakistan’s bowlers did not allow the opposition batters to score freely.

For his outstanding knock of 63 runs, Badar was adjudged as the Player of the Final of the recently concluded Triangular Blind T20 Cricket Tournament.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan enjoyed an unbeaten run before beating India in the final as the green shirts beat the arch-rivals and Banglades twice each to storm into the final.
