KARACHI: Sindh’s young batting sensation Saim Ayub has been signed by Bangladesh Premier League franchise Rangpur Riders for the upcoming edition of the BPL, starting next month.
The 20-year-old had a phenomenal run with the bat in the National T20 Cup, held earlier this year and was declared player of the tournament during Sindh’s maiden title win.
The left-handed opener scored 416 runs from 12 matches at a stunning strike rate of 155.22. He hit 19 sixes and smashed 48 fours – the most by any batter in the tournament.
Taking to Twitter Riders announced signing Saim for the ninth edition of the BPL, scheduled from January 5 to February 16.

Saim has previously represented Pakistan U16 in 2018 and since 2021 he has been part of PSL franchise Quetta Gladiators.
