LAHORE: The Bangladesh cricket team touched down in Pakistan on Sunday for the much-anticipated upcoming three-match T20I series.
The 10-member contingent of the team features players as well as members of the support staff.
The contingent who reached Punjab’s capital is Hasan Mahmood and Mohammad Tanvir Islam, along with support staff members Parvez Hussain, Tanzim Hasan, and Saqib, among others. The remaining members of the squad are scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
It is pertinent to mention that two members of Bangladesh are already in Pakistan. Leg spinner Rishad Hossain and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are currently playing for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10.
Mehidy, initially not included in the squad, was named as the replacement for the opener Soumya Sarkar, who was ruled out of the series due to an injury.
The three-match T20I series between Bangladesh and Pakistan is set to commence on 28 May at the Gaddafi Stadium, while the second and third T20Is are scheduled on May 30 and June 1, respectively.

Bangladesh: Litton Das (c), Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali, Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hasan (vice-capt), Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Shoriful Islam.
