Three Bangladesh cricketers granted NOC to feature in PSL 10

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has issued No Objection Certificates (NOC) to Litton Das, Rishad Hussain, and Nahid Rana, for the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which starts on 11th April, according to Bangladesh’s Daily Sun.

Three Bangladesh cricketers were selected during the player draft for the 10th edition of the PSL, held on 13 January in the iconic Huzoori Bagh in the Lahore Fort.

Peshawar Zalmi selected the emerging pace sensation Nahid Rana, meanwhile, middle-order batter Litton Das and leg-spinner Rishad Hossain were picked by Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandar, respectively.

However, there was ambiguity regarding their participation in the PSL 10 since Bangladesh is set to host Zimbabwe for a two-match Test series from April 20 to May 2.

The Daily Sun cited BCB officials regarding the player’s availability, stating that Rana will be partially available for the tournament, while Rishad and Litton have granted NOCs for the entire season.

“Rana will have to play a Test match, while Litton and Rishad have been granted NOCs for the full season,” a BCB official confirmed to Daily Sun.

The PSL 10 will begin from Friday, 11 April with defending champions Islamabad United taking on two times champions Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The six-team tournament will see 34 matches from 11 April to 18 May, with Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium set to host 13 matches, including two Eliminators and the final.

Also, the upcoming edition will feature an exhibition match, which will be played on 8 April in Peshawar.

According to the schedule, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on 13 May. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches each.

The marquee event will also feature three double-headers, with two matches on weekends (Saturday) and one on a national holiday (Labour Day).
