DUBAI: Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam beat India’s Virat Kohli to become the fastest captain to score 1000 runs in T20 Internationals.
Babar achieved this milestone during Pakistan’s T20 World Cup group stage fixture against Afghanistan here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Babar, the ninth player to achieve this feat, took just 26 innings to secure the milestone. The previous record was held by his Indian counterpart Virat Kohli with 30.
