LAUDERHILL: Four members of the Pakistan ODI squad, including captain Mohammad Rizwan and star batter Babar Azam, landed here on Friday ahead of the upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies.
Rizwan, Babar, Abdullah Shafique, and fast bowler Naseem Shah are the first batch of players to arrive and will link up with the rest of the squad in Lauderhill.
The remaining squad members, currently involved in the ongoing T20I series, will travel to Trinidad and Tobago after the conclusion of the third T20I.
The ODI series is scheduled to be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago on August 8, 10, and 12.
This tour marks a return to international action for Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who have been out of T20I plans as of late.
Their last outing in Pakistan colours came during the ODI series against New Zealand in April, while their most recent T20I appearance was in December 2024 against South Africa.
Meanwhile, the national T20I side began their white-ball campaign in the Caribbean with a 14-run win in the series opener against West Indies at the Central Broward Regional Park on Thursday.
The remaining two T20Is will be played at the same venue on Sunday and Monday at 5:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time).
