KARACHI: Cricket Australia (CA)’s four-member delegation comprised of security experts met security agencies representatives to get the briefing on security arrangements for international cricket in the metropolis.
The delegation visited National Stadium here on Wednesday to get briefing over the security and logistic arrangements. Australia are scheduled to play a Test at this ground from March 3-7, 2022.
During their visit, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s representatives, high-ups from Rangers and SSU were present. The delegation was given a detailed briefing over the security arrangements nearby the ground.
The delegation has shown satisfaction over the security arrangements. Moreover, they will further review the arrangements during the upcoming tour of the West Indies to Pakistan. West Indies will play three T20Is and as many ODIs here from December 13-22.
Meanwhile, the Australian delegation will travel to Lahore and Rawalpindi to see security and logistic arrangements there. The two cities are scheduled to host the Aussies for Test, ODIs, and a T20I.
