KARACHI: Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir has withdrawn from the Abu Dhabi T10 League following his recent positive report of the COVID-19 test.
Taking to Twitter, Amir shared that he will not be playing Abu Dhabi T10 league this year due to suffering from a viral virus.
“Hi everyone. Just wanted to say m I am not playing the Abu Dhabi T10 league this year because I got affected with the covid but now I am fine Alhumdulillah just need prayers for the speedy recovery,” he wrote on Twitter.
Amir was picked up by Bangla Tigers who also have extraordinary T20 players like Faf du Plessis, James Faulkner, Andre Fletcher, and Hazratullah Zazai.
Abu Dhabi T10 League is all set to start on November 19, featuring six teams.
