SYDNEY: Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq alongside his partner Alexandar Nedovyesov beat the Holland/El Salvador team of Rojer Jean Julien and Marcelo Arevalo to reach the quarterfinal of the ATP World Ranking Tennis Championship.
In a fiercely contested match, Aisam’s team edged past the opposition by the scores of 7-6, 6-4; securing a spot in the quarterfinals of the ongoing championship.
Taking to Twitter, the tennis star expressed his excitement and gratitude following a remarkable victory.
Earlier Aisam’s team also defeated the Anglo/Finish pair of Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Heliovaara 6-7,6-3,10-7 in the first round.
