Pakistan Test cricketer Ahmed Shehzad in a bizarre turn of events, got bowled out thrice in an over by a local in Chitral.
A video that went viral on social media, Shehzad can be seen playing cricket with a Chitral local named Ibrahim Khan.
While Shehzad was ready to face Ibrahim, he claimed that he would hit three sixes in the over while the bowler challenged to bowl the national cricketer twice.
Ibrahim’s assertion proved right as he managed to castle Shehzad not twice but thrice.
In the video, Ahmed Shehzad was seen struggling as he managed to connect the ball only once.
Last year, Shehzad expressed his confidence in his abilities and fitness and stated that he could return to the national team soon.
“I always believed in working hard and I am doing that. Also, I have belief in my hard work and soon I will once again play for Pakistan,” said Shehzad.
“If you talk about my fitness, I have been working on this for very long. I am absolutely ready to play. I feel like ready enough to make Pakistan team comeback even tomorrow,” he added.

In response to a question regarding his absence from the franchise leagues around the world, Ahmed Shehzad asserted that he was solely focused on playing for his country and the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
“I can’t hit six maximums in an over. I am not a power-hitter who is in the demand of cricket leagues around the world,” he said.
“I am currently focused on playing for my country and in PSL. For that, I am working on my game and fitness,” he added.
Ahmed Shehzad represented Pakistan in 13 Tests, 81 ODIs, and 59 T20Is. He last featured in an international match back in 2019 during the home T20I series against Sri Lanka.
