ABU DHABI: Kennar Lewis and Hazratullah Zazai powered Northern Warriors to a dominant ten-wicket win over Team Abu Dhabi with an over to spare in the sixth match of the Abu Dhabi T10 League at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
After being invited to bat, Team Abu Dhabi lost opening batter Tom Banton in the fourth over at a total of 39.
Banton top-scored with a quick knock of 33 runs from 17 balls, featuring three boundaries and two sixes.
Alex Hales (20) and Colin Ingram (10) were then involved in a brief 25-run partnership, which looked promising but the Warriors picked three wickets in quick succession to leave Team Abu Dhabi reeling at 69-4.
Asif Khan played a 19-run cameo off seven balls before getting run out.
Team Abu Dhabi scored 103-7 in their 10 overs.

Tabraiz Shamsi led the bowling charts with 2-17, while Angelo Mathews, Azmatullah Omarzai, James Neesham and Abhimanyu Mithun picked one wicket each.
In response, Northern Warriors got off to a flying start with 15 runs in the first over bowled by Binura Fernando.
Opening batters Kennar Lewis and Hazratullah Zazai showed dominant display of batting and remained unbeaten to chase the target in nine overs.
Lewis scored 46 runs from 27 balls with the help of five boundaries and two sixes, whereas, Zazai hit as many boundaries as his partner and three sixes to score 52 runs from 27 balls.
Northern Warriors are currently leading the points table of Abu Dhabi T10 League with two wins in two games.
