ABU DHABI: Andre Fletcher played a blistering 41-run knock to power Deccan Gladiators to a dominant 63-run victory over bottom-ranked Team Abu Dhabi in the 12th Abu Dhabi T10 League match at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

Team Abu Dhabi invited Gladiators to bat first, who raced to 35 runs in the fourth over courtesy of Nicholas Pooran’s 17-ball 30.

However, Rumman Raees halted their progress with back-to-back wickets of Nicholas Pooran and Andre Russell.

The partnership ended with Noor Ahmed removing Fletcher at a total of 114 in the eighth over after the batter had scored 41 runs from 12 balls laced with five sixes and one boundary.

Cadmore was then dismissed in the next over by Tymal Mills after scoring 35 off 17 with the help of two boundaries and as many sixes.

David Wiese then played a 15-run cameo off 6 balls including two sixes in the last over to push Gladiators total to a mammoth 141-6 in ten overs.

Raees and Mills picked two wickets each, while Noor Ahmed and Roelof van der Merwe picked one each.
