A-Sports will promote every single sport in Pakistan: Mr Salman Iqbal

KARACHI: The CEO and President of ARY Digital Network, Mr. Salman Iqbal pledged to promote every single sport in the country through Pakistan’s first-ever HD Sports Channel, A-Sports. 

Speaking at the launching ceremony of A-Sports, Mr. Salman said he always wanted to promote local sports and talented athletes on a bigger platform.

“I always wanted to promote sports and our athletes locally, to give them ample opportunity to showcase themselves at a bigger platform. A-Sports is behind this cause, through this channel, we will try to promote every single sport in the country,” he said.

Mr. Salman shared that A-Sports will not only telecast this year’s T20 World Cup, but also next year’s mega T20 event in Australia and 2023’s ICC World Cup which is scheduled to be played in India.

“We partnered with PTV to win the bid of three mega ICC events in the next three years. Not only this year’s T20 World Cup, but A-Sports will also telecast next year’s T20 World Cup and ICC World Cup 2023,” he disclosed.
