Notably, on 23 February, Kohli became the fastest player to achieve the 14,000-run mark in the ODI format in the match against arch-rivals Pakistan.

He surpassed the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s record, achieving the milestone in fewer innings.

Virat Kohli achieved the feat in his 287th innings, significantly faster than Tendulkar, who reached the landmark in his 350th innings during a match against Pakistan in Peshawar back in 2006.
