LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced a revised pick order for the eagerly awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 Player Draft.
The revised pick order reveals a reduction in the number of player draft categories, with Platinum categories being reduced to two from the previous three.
Additionally, the Diamond categories have been trimmed down from three to a single category, while the Gold categories have also seen a decrease from three to two.
The Silver categories have been reduced from five to three, creating a more focused and strategic drafting process.
Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the Platinum 1 category, followed by Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United.
Turning to the Platinum 2 category, the Quetta Gladiators are in an advantageous position with the first pick, again succeeded by the Karachi Kings.

It’s worth noting that, the PCB on Tuesday announced to reschedule the PSL 10 Player Draft, which will now take place on 13 January at Huzoori Bagh, Lahore Fort.
The event has been moved from the earlier announced venue, Gwadar, due to unforeseen logistical challenges. The PSL 10 Trophy Tour scheduled in March will now feature Gwadar as a key location on its route across Pakistan.
The landmark season 10 of the PSL is slotted to take place between 8 April and 19 May later this year. The six franchises will assemble their star-studded squads on Monday, 13 January during the Player Draft ceremony at one of Lahore’s most iconic heritage sites.
