Opening batter Anamul Haque Bijoy has been named the red-ball captain, while middle-order batter Towhid Hridoy has been appointed the white-ball captain for the Bangladesh A tour of Pakistan.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the appointments through a press release on Wednesday.
Previously, the board announced distinctive squads on Tuesday for their tour to Pakistan which will feature two red-ball fixtures, followed by a three-match One-Day series.
Anamul Haque Bijoy has represented Bangladesh in five Test matches from 2013 to 2022. He has scored over 8000 runs in 117 first-class games at a healthy average of 44.18.
Meanwhile, Towhid Hridoy has scored over 3000 runs in List A cricket at an average of 48. He has played 30 ODIs and 29 T20Is for Bangladesh since his debut in March 2023.

Bangladesh A will embark on their tour to Pakistan with the first four-day match, scheduled to commence on August 10, followed by the second red-ball fixture that will run from August 17 to 20. The three-match One-Day series will be played from August 23 to 27.
Notably, a number of national men’s team players will join the ‘A’ side on August 6 in Pakistan.
