Experienced wicketkeeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim was named in Bangladesh A squad for the first of the two-match red ball series against Pakistan, scheduled in August this year.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday, announced distinctive squads for their tour to Pakistan which will feature two red-ball fixtures, followed by a three-match One-Day series.
Bangladesh A squad for the first four-day match features veteran wicketkeeper batter Rahim, who will be accompanied by national teammates Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Rejaur Rahman Raja.
The three members of the senior team, however, were not named in the Bangladesh A squad for the second four-day match against Pakistan and will be replaced by Saif Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, and Naim Sheikh.
Meanwhile, Soumya Sarkar, Anamul Haque Bijoy and Mosaddek Hossain Saikat headline the Bangladesh A squad for the fifty-over series.

Bangladesh A will embark on their tour to Pakistan with the first four-day match, scheduled to commence on August 10, followed by the second red-ball fixture that will run from August 17 to 20.
The three-match One-Day series will be played from August 23 to 27.
Notably, a number of national men’s team players will join the ‘A’ side on August 6 in Pakistan.
First Four-Day Match Squad:
Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Zakir Hasan, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Nayeem Hasan, Hasan Murad, Tanvir Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Tanzim Sakib, Rejaur Rahman Raja, and Ruyel Miah.
Second Four-Day Match Squad:
Anamul Haque Bijoy, Naim Sheikh, Saif Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Zaker Ali Anik, Towhid Hridoy, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Hasan Murad, Tanvir Islam, Mohammad Saifuddin, Tanzim Sakib, Rejaur Rahman Raja, and Ruyel Miah.
One-Day Squad:
