LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has postponed the ongoing Conditioning Camp due to the current political tensions in the region.
Keeping the current political situation in view, the PCB has decided to postpone the second phase of the ongoing Conditioning Camp of the national cricketers.
The second phase of the conditioning camp which comprises 33 cricketers was scheduled to begin on March 26. However, the current political instability in the country and especially in the region, has forced the postponement of the camp.
Players, bound to participate in the camp, have been directed by the cricket board to travel back to their respective cities. Whereas, the new schedule of the camp will be announced in a due course.
On the other hand, the PCB has also decided to postpone the City Cricket Association (CCA) Trials, which were scheduled to kick off on May 25 across three regions – Northern, Southern, and Sindh.
The new dates of the CCA Trials will also be announced later.
