SHARJAH: In the third match of the ongoing T-20 Blind Cricket Tournament, Pakistan have sealed a consolidating eight wickets victory over Bangladesh to secure the top position on the points table.
After opting to bat first, Bangladesh could only manage to score 111/6 in the allotted 20 overs.
The side were off to a poor start as they lost their first wicket for a mere five runs in the first over.
Bangladesh then kept losing the wickets at a consistent rate which also halted their runs’ flow and in the end, could only manage to score 111/6 in 20 overs.
Set to chase 112, Pakistan easily clinched the victory by eight wickets and 49 balls to spare. Badar Munir top-scored for the green shirts with an unbeaten 34, while the rest of the batters also chipped in the run chase.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan defeated India by 29 runs in the opening match of the Triangular series.
