DUBAI: Prominent performers in Pakistan’s victory against India in U19 Asia Cup on Saturday, Zeeshan Zameer and Mohammad Shehzad were overwhelmed to have contributed for Pakistan in a big match.
In a video interview released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Zeeshan, who took his maiden fifer, said it was his plan to take wickets against India.
“I had a plan to take as many wickets as I can against India. And, Alhumdulillah, I achieved this feat,” the youngster said in the video.
Meanwhile, Shehzad (82) was also satisfied with his powerful performance against the arch-rivals.
“All the players executed the plan so well. It was my dream to perform against India. I am grateful with this performance and contributing runs in my team’s victory,” he shared.
It must be noted here that Pakistan beat India by two wickets to register second consecutive victory in the multi-nation Asian event.
