KARACHI: The retention, trade and release window for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 closed on Friday afternoon. All the franchises announced retained players.
All the PSL franchises have retained full allocations of eight players, except, Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators, both retained seven players.
QUETTA GLADIATORS: Sarfaraz Ahmed, James Vince, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain and Naseem Shah.
ISLAMABAD UNITED: Asif Ali, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Alex Hales, Azam Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr and Paul Stirling.
KARACHI KINGS: Babar Azam, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Nabi, Joe Clarke, Aamir Yamin, Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Ilyas.
LAHORE QALANDARS: Rashid Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, David Wiese, Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Daniyal, Sohail Akhtar and Zeeshan Ashraf.
MULTAN SULTANS: Mohammad Rizwan, Rilee Rossouw, Imran Tahir, Sohaib Maqsood, Khushdil Shah, Shahnawaz Dahani and Shan Masood.
PESHAWAR ZALMI: Liam Livingstone, Wahab Riaz, Haider Ali, Sherfane Rutherford, Shoaib Malik, Hussain Talat, Saqib Mahmood and Tom Kohler-Cadmore.
The PSL draft will be held at National High-Performance Center on 12th December. The drafting has attracted over 425 players from 32 countries. In the Platinum Category, Lahore Qalandars will have the first pick, followed by Sultans, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi and Gladiators.
Each franchise can comprise up to 18 players, including three each in Platinum, Diamond, and Gold categories; five Silver, two Emerging and up to two Supplementary categories.
