DUBAI: Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam was satisfied with his team’s performance so far but believes that there is a long way for them to go in T20 World Cup 2021.
Speaking after the third consecutive victory in the event, Babar said his team executed the plans well but they are still left with so much to do in the event.
“A very good start of the tournament for us. We won three consecutive matches that gave us a lot of confidence,” he said.
“But, we still have to play two matches and then knock out stage. So, our focus is strong on next games,” he added.
Babar thanked Pakistani fans for showing all-out support to the team. “I want to thank each and every fan for supporting us. Meanwhile, I would like to request them to stand with players in bad times. Your support gives us confidence and we try our best to win games,” he said.
