70-year-old Pakistani Naseem registers maiden Guinness World Record

KARACHI: A 70-years-old Pakistani Naseemuddin registered his maiden Guinness World Record and became the first oldest Pakistani to achieve any record at the world level.

Naseemuddin, the Karachi-hailed welder, crushed 18 apples in the hand in one minute to break England’s record of 13. The Guinness World Records have shared the details of the record on their website.

Naseem is the father of Pakistani martial artist Mohammad Rashid who has so far registered 73 individual Guinness World Records. Rashid’s seven-year-old daughter Fatima Naseem is also Pakistan’s youngest Guinness World Record holder.
