Pakistan beat Morocco in Socca World Cup’s friendly match

BUDAPEST: In a friendly game ahead of their group fixture against Mauritius in the ongoing ISF Socca World Cup 2022, Pakistan beat Morocco by 7-2 at Kobanya Sports Club on Monday.

The Green Shirts overpowered the opponents as Shabban Hussain and Hamza Ibrahim hit two goals each while Raneem, Tayyab Hayat and Kareem Kerai scored apiece.

Jaouad Zairi, who also represented the Moroccan national football team and made 34 international appearances, scored a brace for his side in the friendly game.

Earlier in their first group encounter, Pakistan were defeated by Mexico 1-0 on Sunday. The team is now set to make a rebound in its next encounter against Mauritius on Tuesday.

International Socca Federation (ISF) 6-a-side World Cup 2022 is currently underway at Mazsa Ter Square of Budapest, Hungary with more than 40 nations competing in the tournament. Pakistan is placed in Group G along with Mauritius, Mexico and Ireland and Scotland.
