LAHORE: Following a disappointing run of Karachi Kings in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7, Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddique, broke his silence and came to his son’s defence in his latest Instagram post.

Taking to Instagram, Babar’s father admitted that the 26-years-old is currently out of form while backing him by referring that even the greatest sportsmen get out of form.

“Babar is working hard but I believe that even the greatest players get out of form,” he wrote.

Siddique further expressed hope that the national team’s captain regains his form ahead of the home series against Australia, next month. Furthermore, he also revealed that Babar is currently working and never loses hope nor does he get scared of the tough times.

In addition, Siddique also urged Babar’s fans not to be disheartened, adding that the captain is working as hard as ever and will soon return to form.

It is worth mentioning here that Babar-led Karachi Kings have remained off colour in this year’s PSL; losing eight consecutive matches.
