Blind Cricket: Pakistan thrash South Africa to take an unassailable 2-0 lead

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Blind Cricket Team sealed a consolidating eight-wickets victory over South Africa Blind Cricket Team to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series, here on Monday.

Set to chase a mere 110, Pakistan easily got to the total for the loss of just two wickets and 27 balls to spare.

In the run chase, Zafar Iqbal led the way with his brilliant 44 off 53 balls, while Muhammad Rashid followed back with his run-a-ball 30.

For South Africa, Anathi Xelelo managed to make one scalp.

Batting first, South Africa managed to post 109 in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of six wickets.

For the touring side, Bhule Bhidla top-scored with his 28 off 33 balls, while Fredrik Andreas chipped in with 24 off 27 deliveries.

For the home side, Zafar Iqbal, Sajid, and Israr struck out a batter each.
