As the drizzle turned into a steady downpour, the ground crew swiftly placed covers over the pitch to ensure minimal damage, while the outfield was also covered to prevent excessive dampness.

Despite the weather concerns, both Pakistan and Bangladesh squads have arrived at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. However, with rain playing spoilsport, the toss, initially scheduled at 01:30 PM, is likely to be delayed.
Given the forecast, a rain-affected contest—or even a potential washout—remains a strong possibility, further dampening Pakistan’s disappointing campaign in the tournament.
