KARACHI: Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah donated his magical bat – with which he hit two iconic sixes against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup Super Four match – to the Shahid Afridi Foundation for flood relief activities.

Taking to Twitter, the 19-year-old announced that he was donating the bat to the foundation, run by the legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi, for the flood relief campaign.

“Humbled to auction off my sixer bat from the Pak Vs. Afghan Asia Cup match for Shahid Afridi Foundation Flood Relief Campaign across Pakistan. Grateful to Shahid Afridi for taking such a noble initiative! Support them in ensuring [Hope Not Out],” he wrote.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan edged Afghanistan by one wicket in the all-important Asia Cup Super Four clash courtesy of the two astounding sixes from tailender Naseem. His heroics guided the men in green to the Asia Cup final which Pakistan, however, lost to then-winner Sri Lanka by 27 runs.
